Rooted Giving at 125 provides a symbolic dedication of an existing tree already in our care. Donors receive a digital certificate of dedication and recognition of their honoree in our annual Dedication Register. This option does not include planting, monitoring, or replacement.

Growing Change at 275 supports the planting of a new tribute tree. Donors receive a digital certificate, a tribute tag installed on the tree with the honoree’s name and an optional message of up to 50 characters, planting confirmation when available, and annual monitoring updates for three years. This dedication does not include a replacement guarantee.

New tribute trees are planted during seasonal planting windows in the fall and spring, based on weather and site readiness.

 For Rooted Giving dedications, the Urban Forestry Monitoring Manager assigns a tree from the approved Existing Tree Bank.
 For Growing Change dedications, the Urban Forestry Senior Programs Manager assigns trees as part of the seasonal planting plan.

Yes. Dedicate a Tree can be used to honor, celebrate, recognize, or remember a person, milestone, or value.

Tribute tags include the honoree’s name, an optional message of up to 50 characters, the tree species, the AZSA logo, and a QR code linking to program information.

 Certificates are issued within two weeks of donation.
